Teachers and administrators regard the World Explorers educational programs as an extraordinary way to reinforce and augment a wide range of learning concepts.  Learning is made fun and engaging through stories, movement, and constant interaction.

“Daniel was a dynamic and energetic presenter. His passion and
enthusiasm for music, culture, and children was evident during his
visit. He was kind, patient, and nurturing with our students. Daniel
had the challenge of engaging over 100 students during six different performances throughout the day. Throughout it all, his love for music and passion for developing a sense of unity shined through!”

Each Rhythm Moves learning adventure uses a world map and emphasizes connections to learning standards in history, cultural studies, math, music, arts, science, physical education, language and mindfulness.  Also included in each experience are foundational concepts in music such as: volume, tone, transition, interaction, listening, dynamics, and emotional expression.

The Rhythm Moves "Mobile Instrument Museum" is always growing.  Since 1994 Daniel has actively collected cultural artifacts and musical instruments from different cultures throughout the world.

Currently this musical instrument collection includes over 125 unique instruments from six continents.  The majority of these instruments are traditional, organic and/or considered indigenous.

In addition, Daniel has a collection of contemporary electronic instruments, synthesizers, a Boss loop station, Roland Handsonic, numerous amplifiers, a giant PA system, microphones and more.

Rhythm Moves and Daniel Scruggs have been bringing the world to learning communities and classrooms since 2003 !
